Si el famoso ministro de propaganda del nazismo, Joseph Goebbels, hubiese vivido en pleno siglo XXI seguramente hubiese quedado fascinado con la inmediatez que los nuevos medios le imprimen al hecho comunicacional. La velocidad de la luz es el average de tiempo entre el emisor de un mensaje y los receptores en las redes sociales. Es, si podemos llamarlo así, una difusión instantánea.

Más aún, el maestro de la propaganda nazi hubiese querido tener en su poder plataformas comunicacionales como Facebook y Twitter a través de las cuales puede difundirse cualquier contenido sin limitaciones ni parámetros de ningún tipo. Lo de los 140 caracteres en Twitter en verdad no importa mucho cuando puedes enviar todos los twitts que desees de manera infinita. En todo caso, hoy vemos fluir por las redes sociales todas las técnicas existentes de propaganda: la afirmación, la atracción por la multitud, el solapamiento, la generalización destacada, el falso dilema, el demonio menos malo, el apodamiento o epítetos, el señalamiento del enemigo, la popularización, los testimonios, la transferencia, la deshumanización, el estímulo del miedo y la hostilidad, la promoción de la discriminación y la violencia, la diosificación y el empuje a la violación de los derechos humanos.

El fascismo no puede existir sin propaganda fascista, así como el capitalismo se diluye sin medios de comunicación que impongan a los seres humanos su perversa e irracional lógica, haciendo ver que es lo normal. El fascismo necesita moldear ideológicamente a sus adeptos a través de la propaganda para que haya unidad de criterio y de acción. Para moldear consciencias, el fascismo recurre al veneno ideológico. Intoxica cada individualidad para que retroceda a un estadio primitivo de “supervivencia del más fuerte y el más apto”. Se exacerba la emocionalidad y se lleva a la mínima expresión la racionalidad.

Mientras usted lee estas líneas, la población venezolana que utiliza las redes sociales está recibiendo miles de dosis de este veneno fascista. Por el torrente sanguíneo de la patria fluye la toxina del fascismo que logra enganchar a muchos. Por eso, en gran parte, el odio y la violencia que vemos éstos días. En las redes sociales aún no se ve un antídoto masivo articulado por el Gobierno Bolivariano, sólo espero no lleguemos a ser como Ruanda.

Facebook, Twitter and Propaganda (English)

If the famous minister of the Nazi's propaganda , Joseph Goebbels, had lived in the XXI century probably would have been fascinated with the immediacy that new media prints to the communication act. The speed of light is the average time between a message sender and the recipients on social networks. It is, if we can call it that way , a snapshot diffusion.

Moreover, the master of the Nazi propaganda would have wanted to have in his power platforms of communication like Facebook and Twitter through which any content can be disseminated without limitations or parameters of any kind. The 140 characters limit in Twitter really don't matter much when you can send all the tweets you want infinitely. In any case , today we see flowing through social networks all existing techniques of propaganda : affirmation, attraction to the crowd, overlapping, prominent generalization, false dilemma , the lesser evil demon, name calling  or epithets, pointing out the enemy, popularization, testimonials, transfer, dehumanization, the stimulus of fear and hostility, promotion of discrimination and violence, deification and the thrust of  human rights violation.

Fascism can not exist without fascist propaganda, likewise capitalism is diluted without media that  imposes their perverse and irrational logic into humans, making it seem like normal . Fascism needs to ideologically mold its followers through propaganda for unity of opinion and action. To mold consciousness , fascism uses ideological poison. Intoxicating each individual to fall back to a primitive stage of " survival of the strongest and the fittest." It exacerbates emotions and brings rationality to its minimum expression.

As you read these lines , the Venezuelan population using social networks is receiving thousands of doses of this fascist poison. By the Homeland's bloodstream flows a Fascism toxin that manages to engage many. Reason for all the hatred and violence that we see these days. In social networks we are yet to see a massive antidote articulated by the Bolivarian Government , I just hope we don't get to be like Rwanda.
