Expropiar la Cadena

2 strikes lingüísticos que siguen ocurriendo contra el proceso revolucionario

El Comandante Supremo Hugo Chávez siempre se quejó una y otra vez, en reiteradas oportunidades, de forma repetitiva, cayendo siempre en el mismo punto, respecto a la mala comunicación que luce el proceso revolucionario. La autocrítica siempre la centraba en el hecho de “no saber comunicar”, la gente no se enteraba de las cosas según su punto de vista y la deficiencia en ese campo era evidente.

Hoy, ya casi a mediados de 2014 vemos que hay detalles comunicacionales que pareciese fueran obviados y tienen un peso enorme a la hora de atribuir significados y connotaciones a las acciones del Gobierno Bolivariano y del proceso revolucionario.

Primeramente hablaré del término “expropiar”, que se ha machacado mediáticamente hasta la saciedad tanto de parte del gobierno chavista como de la oposición durante 15 años. Un término que connota el perjuicio que se inflinge al capitalista poseedor de tierras o empresas, por lo tanto, la palabra inmediatamente le atribuye al capitalista el rol de víctima y al gobierno el de victimario. Para evitar esto, debe dársele un vuelco a la expresión y transformarla en “socializar” que es, a la final, el propósito que busca la acción establecida en las leyes de cambiar la propiedad monopólica y egoísta de algo para hacerla de todos y que beneficie a la sociedad, al pueblo.

A nadie le gusta le quiten algo, sicológicamente somos reacios a que nos impidan poseer cosas. Por lo tanto, expropiar genera rechazo. Al decir, socializar, nadie puede estar en contra de que las cosas sean de todos y a la vez beneficien a todos. Suena bastante distinto, ¿no creen?

Por otra parte, el término “cadena” para expresar las alocuciones presidenciales que son transmitidas a través de radio y televisión sin excepción, es un concepto que favorece a los intereses del capital mediático. Las cadenas, simbólicamente, oprimen, apresan, coartan, encierran, etc. Son asociaciones simbólicas que para nada favorecen al significado real de lo que sucede: el presidente de todos los venezolanos libera a los ciudadanos de la dictadura mediática para informarles sobre asuntos de interés nacional, sobre cosas que le importan a todos. De esta forma, la definición pudiese mutar a “enlace comunicacional” o “unión comunicacional”, frases que connotan lo opuesto y expresan la real intención del hecho comunicativo que emprende el Poder Ejecutivo de manera esporádica.

Las cosas elementales deben revisarse. El cambio lingüístico va implícito en la comunicación política de cualquier gobierno revolucionario.


Expropriate the chain

The Supreme Commander Hugo Chavez always complained over and over again, in various opportunities, repetitively, always falling on the same point, in regards of the miscommunication  that displays the revolutionary process. He would always centered the self-criticism in the fact of "not knowing how to communicate", people wouldn't find out about things according to his point of view and the deficiency in that field was evident.

Today, almost in mid 2014 we can see that there are communication details that seem to be bypassed and have an enormous weight at the time to attribute significance and connotation to the actions of the Bolivarian Government and the revolutionary process. 

First I will talk about the term "expropriate", that has been pounded by the media until the satiety both from the chavist government and the opposition during 15 years. A term that connotes the damage that is inflicted to the capitalist owner of lands or companies, therefore the word immediately attributes to the capitalist the victim's roll and to the government of the victimizer. To avoid this, a reverse must be put in place to the term and transform it into "socializing" which is, at the end, the purpose that the action established in the law, seeks to change the selfish monopolistic ownership to make it for everyone and that it benefits the society and the people.

 

Nobody likes to have something taken, psychologically we are averse to be kept from possessing things. Therefore, expropriation generates rejection. By saying, socialize, nobody can be against of things being for everyone and at the same time to benefit everyone. it sounds very different, don't you think?

 

Moreover, the term "chain" to express the presidential speeches that are transmitted through the radio and television without exception, it's a concept that favors to the interests of the capitalist media. The chains, symbolically, oppress, imprison, restrict, enclose, etc. Are symbolic associations that do not favor at all the real significance of what happens: the president of all venezuelans frees the citizens of the media dictatorship to inform them on issues of national interests, about things that are important to all. Thus, the definition could mutate into "communication connection" or "communication union", phrases that connote the opposite and express the real intention of the communicative fact undertaken by the Executive Power in a sporadically manner. 

 

The elemental things must be revised. The linguistic change goes implicit in the political communication of any revolutionary government.
